We configured our b-hive platform to have two conferencing services — audio and video — so businesses can always stay connected to their customers, clients, and team members.
Audio Conferencing with b-hive
As the name suggests, this type of meeting is an audio-only way to allow multiple people — and their phone systems — to connect on a call. Instead of sending out a meeting link for Zoom or Microsoft Teams, a dial-in number is provided, which allows each person to dial in to the conference bridge and join the meeting.
The audio conference bridge in b-hive can hold an unlimited number of callers — we’ve tried it with over a thousand callers! — so organizers never have to worry about a meeting being too big or too small. In addition to a dial-in number, organizers can configure a PIN that allows participants to access the meeting once entered, and employees can enter an extension for the bridge that allows immediate access to the meeting.
Video Conferencing in the Communicator App
Our conferencing capabilities even extend to the Communicator app. While this is inherently a video conferencing feature, users are not required to be behind a computer or even a desk to join meetings — participants can join from their phones using either the Communicator app or the browser version of b-hive. If they don’t have access to the app or a browser from their phone, they can still dial in to the meeting using the audio on their device.
